Specific Job Function:

• Responsibility for all switching, routing, wireless, telecom, security appliances and management tools

• Ensure the network spanning North America and supporting South America's business is designed,

operating and prepared for future demands

• Investigates and resolves network and telecom issues

• Design and implement network equipment across multiple locations

• Monitor and administer various system/network monitoring tools

• Create and update network systems planning and diagramming

• Work with telecom providers to manage existing circuits and coordinate outage resolution

• Maintain incident and change tracking through ticket-based system.

• Debug and configure remote connectivity problems

• Partner with external network architects on design and implementation projects

• Install, move, or decommission computer equipment as required for user physical moves

• Maintain corporate standards, follow departmental procedures and clearly document projects as

required for Audit compliance

• Performance of other duties as assigned, occasionally during off-hours

Requirements:

• Relevant Business Experience in Network and Telecom Management in a Corporate IT environment -

3 to 5 years

• Fortigate Firewall experience preferred

• Experience designing and creating multisite networks

• Technology expertise with the following technologies: IP Networking, Packet-based Encryption,

LAN/WAN/MPLS/SDN Networking, Cisco Switching/Routing, Cisco VPN, Cisco Wireless, Avaya
