Nature Tech's Cellulose Insulation Line is a system of machinery that uses 90% recycled materials to create a safe, efficient, and effective cellulose product with optimal performance characteristics.

This position interfaces with other engineers and designers as well as maintenance and system production personnel. It involves a blend of time designing/creating new components, upgrading existing ones, and interfacing in the shop to see and feel the finished components in action. Tasks include:

• Design and/or Engineering calculations for R&D and Production equipment
• Supporting maintenance and production personnel on equipment (installs, repairs, operation, etc.) both verbally and "hands-on" in the shop
• 3D Design/Layout and 2D Drawing creation for the manufacturing of parts, assemblies, and weldments
• Effective communication including the use of MS Office, for creating Standards documentation, meeting presentations, and purchasing organization

The ideal candidate…

… has significant experience and confidence with:

• 3D/2D CAD. SolidWorks (highly preferred) or comparable CAD platform - Inventor, PTC Creo (ProEngineer)
• A user with experience in non-SW CAD must be able to adapt quickly to SW
• A user with extensive SW experience will aid in standards / best practices development
• Machine Design
• Mechanisms and Linkages, Gearboxes and Speed Changers, Motors and VFDs, Sheet Metal and Ductwork, Weldments, Fluid Pumps, Nozzles, Air Flow, Pneumatics
• Purchasing and Vendor relations / established contacts
• Clear and concise communication skills

… preferably has experience with:

• Hands-On Experience / Confidence (hand tools, power tools)
• Machining equipment knowledge and/or operation (lathe, mill, brake press, etc.)
• PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Omron)
• Heat Transfer, HVAC, and Fluid Dynamics
• The design and application of industrial fans, rotary valves (air locks), augers, and cyclones
