We provide services across the entire facilities lifecycle to help our clients reach their capital improvement goals economically and strategically.Job DescriptionProvide general construction and related services for the staff at the Maryland Department of Health, Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center. Assess general construction needs, develop scopes of work, manage trades staff performing scopes, plus verify work was performed per the scope of work. Scopes of work will include HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical projects. All scopes will have estimated values under $50,000.Manage trades vendors once awarded. Duties will include coordinating access to the facility, coordinating schedules with the facility operations, coordinating any system or space temporary shutdowns, ensuring work-site safety, and verifying the scope of work is completed appropriately. Review any proposed change orders and provide recommendations to the contract manager. Review all invoices from the trades vendors and provide recommendations to the contract manager.Qualifications 5+ years hands on facility operations and construction experience on medium to large scale medical facility projects Exp in construction, operation and maintenance of medical facility systems and equipment Knowledge of TJC, NFPA, ASHRE, Life Safety, and relevant medical facility building codes, standards and regulations. Current OSHA 30 certification Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency to read, speak and write the English language Working proficiency on MS Office applications Strong organization and time management skills Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United Sates on a full-time basis; HFS Company does not sponsor individuals for employment visasAdditional InformationHFS Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
